A JOINT RESOLUTION TO DELAY, UNTIL THE 1981 TAX YEAR, THE PENALTY PROVISIONS RELATING TO LATE FILING WITH THE TAX COMMISSION FOR PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Time extended for filing extensions

Section 1. The penalty provisions of subsection F of Section 12-3-145 of the 1976 Code shall not apply for the 1980 tax year. The Tax Commission may, for good cause, extend the time for filing for exemptions prescribed in Section 12-3-145.

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
