AN ACT TO PROVIDE FULL MAGISTERIAL POWERS TO THE SPECIAL MAGISTRATE IN LEXINGTON COUNTY TO BE EXERCISED AS DIRECTED BY THE CHIEF MAGISTRATE OF LEXINGTON COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Lexington County special magistrate

SECTION 1. The special magistrate added in Lexington County by Act 450 of 1976 may exercise all powers provided by law for magistrates. The magistrate shall exercise his powers at the times and in the manner directed by the chief magistrate of Lexington County.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
