AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE AIKEN COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION TO LEVY EIGHTY-FOUR MILLS BEGINNING WITH THE 1988-89 FISCAL YEAR AND EACH YEAR THEREAFTER WHICH MUST BE USED ONLY FOR THE OPERATIONS OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF AIKEN COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Millage authorization

SECTION 1. Beginning with the 1988-89 fiscal year and each year thereafter, the Aiken County Board of Education is authorized to levy eighty-four mills which only may be used for the operations of the school district of Aiken County.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
