AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 27-31-100, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE CONTENTS OF THE MASTER DEED OR LEASE IN A HORIZONTAL PROPERTY REGIME, SO AS TO ADD A NEW REQUIREMENT THAT ANY RESTRICTION OR LIMITATION ON THE LEASE OF A UNIT MUST BE IN THE MASTER DEED OR LEASE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Restrictions or limitations must be in master deed or lease

SECTION 1. Section 27-31-100 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"(h) Any restrictions or limitations on the lease of a unit including, but not limited to, the amount and term of the lease."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
