AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-2210, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE HUNTING OF WILD TURKEYS, SO AS TO PROHIBIT THE TAKING OF OR AN ATTEMPT TO TAKE WILD TURKEYS WITH A RIFLE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Taking or attempting to take wild turkey

SECTION 1. Section 50-11-2210 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding an appropriately numbered subsection to read:

"( ) It is unlawful for a person to take or attempt to take a wild turkey with a rifle."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
