A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT SCHOOL DAYS, NOVEMBER 12 AND 13, 1987, MISSED BY SENECA JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN OCONEE COUNTY WHEN THE SCHOOL WAS CLOSED BECAUSE OF A MALFUNCTION OF THE HEATING SYSTEM ARE EXEMPT FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Missed school days excused

SECTION 1. School days, November 12 and 13, 1987, missed by students at Seneca Junior High School in Oconee County due to the school's being closed because of a malfunction of the heating system are exempt from the requirement of the Defined Minimum Plan that full school days missed due to extreme weather or other circumstances be made up

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
