A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE FRIENDS OF SNEE FARM FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION AND TOURISM.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Grant allowed

SECTION 1. The Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism may provide a one-time grant of one hundred thousand dollars from the Recreation Land Trust Fund to the Friends of Snee Farm, Incorporated. The grant must be applied exclusively toward the remaining costs of purchasing the historic Snee Farm property in Charleston County which will become the Charles Pinckney National Historic Landmark and be managed by the National Park Service.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
