A JOINT RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD TO TRANSFER FUNDS FOR STATE EMPLOYEE BONUSES TO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE STATE AND TO AUTHORIZE STATE AGENCIES TO PAY THE BONUSES FROM APPROPRIATED ACCOUNTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Transfer of funds authorized

SECTION 1. For the purpose of facilitating the disbursement and recordkeeping of the state employee bonuses, as appropriated from the Capital Reserve Fund pursuant to Section 1(1) of Act 206 of 1989, the State Budget and Control Board is authorized to transfer to the general fund of the State the amount authorized for the bonuses, and state agencies are authorized to pay the bonuses from appropriated accounts.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
