TO CONGRATULATE SUSANNE N. WOLFE OF GREENVILLE UPON BEING ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE WOMEN.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are extremely pleased to learn that Susanne N. Wolfe of Greenville has been elected President of the National Association of Insurance Women and will be installed as President at the annual meeting of the Association to be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on June 19-22, 1991; and
Whereas, she began her insurance career in 1971, is currently vice-president, and a principal of Bultman-Bell Associates, an independent agency with offices in Greenville and Columbia, and received the prestigious CPIW designation in 1976, and the CIC designation in 1985; and
Whereas, the National Association of Insurance Women is an organization with more than 20,000 members which provides education, information, and communication opportunities to its members throughout four hundred local and fifty state organizations; and
Whereas, prior to being elected as President of the NAIW, Susanne served as Vice-President in 1989-90 and in many other national, regional, state, and local offices of the association over the years; and
Whereas, it is a true honor to have one of South Carolina's own elected to lead this prestigious association and this without question is one of the highlights of her distinguished twenty-year career; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to recognize and congratulate this outstanding insurance professional upon her election to this prestigious position. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly hereby congratulate Susanne N. Wolfe of Greenville upon being elected President of the National Association of Insurance Women.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Wolfe.
