CONGRATULATING THE BOYS' TRACK AND FIELD TEAM OF NINETY SIX HIGH SCHOOL, GREENWOOD COUNTY, ON WINNING THE 1991 CLASS AA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN TRACK AND FIELD.
Whereas, the boys' track and field team of Ninety Six High School has captured the Class AA state championship in track and field for 1991; and
Whereas, the Wildcats of Ninety Six High accumulated ninety-six points en route to their fourth consecutive state crown, finishing thirty-four points ahead of the runner-up team; and
Whereas, Coach Zeke Goode and the members of the Ninety Six team are to be commended for their dedication and hard work this year; and
Whereas, the Ninety Six High School boys' track and field team is obviously very talented and is becoming one of the dominant track and field teams in the State with its fourth straight title. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates the boys' track and field team of Ninety Six High School, Greenwood County, on winning the 1991 Class AA State Championship in track and field.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Zeke Goode and the Ninety Six High School boys' track and field team.
