A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING SOUTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL OF GREENVILLE COUNTY ON WINNING THE BOYS' CLASS AA STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 1992.

Whereas, Southside High School of Greenville County has captured the boys' Class AA state basketball championship by defeating Silver Bluff High School 65-51 to finish the 1991-92 season with an outstanding 30-2 record; and

Whereas, the Southside Tigers ended the season with a 26-game winning streak and led the State in scoring with an 84.1 points-per-game average; and

Whereas, Head Coach Mark Huff and his players deserve much credit for their hard work, dedication, talent, and determination and are highly deserving of recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates Southside High School of Greenville County on winning the boys' Class AA state basketball championship for 1992.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Mark Huff and the 1991-92 Southside Tigers basketball team of Southside High School, 100 Blassingame Road, Greenville, 29605.
