SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.
This amended regulation changes eligibility requirements for the high school equivalency credential candidate in the GED testing program. With the recommendation from the Curriculum and Instructional Materials Committee and the K-12 Education Subcommittee, one phrase is deleted to allow more flexibility in the GED testing program by allowing South Carolina residents who are tested outside of the state to be eligible for a South Carolina credential.
