A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

COMMENDING HAROLD M. ROBERTSON OF COLLETON COUNTY FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED AND OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA PUBLIC SERVICE AUTHORITY (SANTEE COOPER) GOVERNING BOARD.

Whereas, Harold M. Robertson of Colleton County has been a member of the governing board of the South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper) for twenty years and, during all of that time, has never missed a board meeting; and

Whereas, his contributions of attention to detail, knowledge, wisdom, and hard work have helped to make Santee Cooper very successful in its growth, goals, and service; and

Whereas, he ran his own company until 1971 and has served as a state highway commissioner and on several planning boards in the Walterboro area; and

Whereas, his record of service at Santee Cooper is truly a model for all public servants; and

Whereas, he is a remarkable and beloved individual whose service is highly deserving of recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commend Harold M. Robertson of Colleton County for his many years of dedicated and outstanding service as a member of the South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper) governing board.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Robertson.
