Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Every insurer licensed to transact business in this State who offers or provides homeowner's protection insurance shall offer to the insured or the prospective insured, as a part of the contract or policy of homeowner's insurance, coverage for and protection against the perils of flood, earthquake, and hail.
