A BILL

TO AMEND ACT 1329 OF 1968, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE CREATION OF THE GREENVILLE COUNTY RECREATION DISTRICT, SO AS TO CHANGE THE FISCAL YEAR OF THE DISTRICT FROM THE YEAR USED BY GREENVILLE COUNTY TO A FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY FIRST AND ENDING DECEMBER THIRTY-FIRST.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 7 of Act 1329 of 1968 is amended to read:

"Section 7. The Beginning January 1, 1991, the commission shall conduct its affairs on the fiscal year basis employed by Greenville County a fiscal year beginning January first and ending December thirty-first. As soon after the close of its fiscal year as may be practicable, an audit of its affairs shall must be made by a certified public accountant of good standing to be designated by the commission. Copies of such the audit, incorporated into an annual report of the commission, shall must be filed with the Greenville County Legislative Delegation."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
