TO CONGRATULATE MR. CALVIN JOYNER OF LEE COUNTY ON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT FROM COUNTY OFFICE.
Whereas, the General Assembly has learned that Mr. Calvin Joyner of Lee County has decided to retire from county office; and
Whereas, Mr. Joyner has served eighteen years on the Lee County Council and twenty years before that as a county magistrate; and
Whereas, with his combined thirty-eight years serving Lee County, he has accomplished many tasks for the people of his county and tirelessly worked to improve the quality of life for its citizens; and
Whereas, his experience and determination will be missed in the coming years, but he has earned his retirement. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly congratulate Mr. Calvin Joyner of Lee County on the occasion of his retirement from county office.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Calvin Joyner.
