AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-870, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DECLARATION OF CERTAIN AREAS OF THE STATE AS BIRD SANCTUARIES, SO AS TO DECLARE THE TOWN OF PAWLEYS ISLAND IN GEORGETOWN COUNTY A BIRD SANCTUARY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Bird sanctuary

SECTION 1. Section 50-11-870 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding an appropriately numbered item to read:

"( ) The Town of Pawleys Island in Georgetown County."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
