AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 34-27-300 SO AS TO EXEMPT CREDIT UNIONS CHARTERED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 34-27-40 FROM BUSINESS LICENSE TAXES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Credit unions exempted from business license taxes
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 34-27-300. Credit unions chartered under the laws of South Carolina pursuant to Section 34-27-40 are exempt from business license taxes."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
