A BILL

TO AUTHORIZE THE OWNER OF MANUFACTURED HOUSING OR A MOBILE HOME TO TAKE CERTAIN STEPS TO QUALIFY THE MANUFACTURED HOUSING OR MOBILE HOME AS A HOUSE FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The owner of manufactured housing or a mobile home may qualify that dwelling as a house for insurance purposes under the following conditions:

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
