A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE LA'RON KINYARDA JENKINS OF RICHLAND COUNTY UPON BEING SELECTED AS ONE OF THIRTY YOUNG BLACK HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AS "MAKERS OF TOMORROW".

Whereas, La'Ron Kinyarda Jenkins of Richland County has been selected as one of thirty young black high school students from across the United States as "Makers of Tomorrow"; and

Whereas, La'Ron has a vision for to improve our future; and

Whereas, he is an extraordinary seventeen year old junior from Eau Claire High School; and

Whereas, La'Ron has demonstrated exceptional leadership, scholarship, and character. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly congratulate La'Ron Kinyarda Jenkins on being one of thirty young black high school students selected from across the United States as "Makers of Tomorrow".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to La'Ron Kinyarda Jenkins.
