AN ACT TO PERMIT THE NORTH CHARLESTON DISTRICT TO CONTINUE TO ENTER INTO A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT WITH AN ELECTRIC UTILITY OR SUPPLIER.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
North Charleston District electric utility or supplier agreements allowed
SECTION 1. The North Charleston District may continue to enter into a franchise agreement, whether written or otherwise, with an electric utility or supplier.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
