A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 50-17-811, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE OPEN SEASON FOR CATCHING SHAD, SO AS TO INCLUDE GAME ZONES 5 AND 8 WITH 7 AND EXTEND THE SEASON TO MAY EIGHTEENTH.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 50-17-811 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"Section 50-17-811. In Game Zone Zones 5, 7, and 8 the open season for catching of shad is from the first day of February first to the fourth day of May eighteenth."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
