A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO PROHIBIT THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS APPROPRIATED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION UNTIL A TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL IS INSTALLED AT THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 86 AND S4-53 IN ANDERSON COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation is prohibited from expending any funds appropriated by the General Assembly and from the State Highway Fund until a traffic control signal is installed at the intersection of South Carolina Highway 86 and S4-53 in Anderson County.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
