A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH FOR ITS EXEMPLARY EFFORTS IN PROVIDING SUPERB STAFF TRAINING PROGRAMS.

Whereas, the State Department of Mental Health has made exemplary efforts in providing appropriate training for its staff regarding the most current treatment of mental illness; and

Whereas, these training efforts enable the Department of Mental Health to provide a higher quality of care to the patients in its system; and

Whereas, appropriate training enables staff to further aid patients with mental illness to progress in treatment and have a better quality of life. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly commend the State Department of Mental Health for its exemplary efforts in providing superb training programs for its staff.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Dr. Joseph J. Bevilacqua, State Commissioner, State Department of Mental Health.
