A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH FOR ITS EXEMPLARY TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR ITS COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER BOARD MEMBERS.

Whereas, the State Department of Mental Health has made exemplary efforts in providing appropriate training for community mental health center board members; and

Whereas, these training efforts have provided these board members with up-to-date information on mental health issues; and

Whereas, appropriate training enables board members to move the community mental health center forward successfully and consistently with the needs of mental health clients. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly commend the State Department of Mental Health for its exemplary training programs for the members of community mental health center boards.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Dr. Joseph J. Bevilacqua, State Commissioner, State Department of Mental Health.
