TO REPEAL SECTION 10-1-40, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE STATE HOUSE COMMITTEE AND TO DEVOLVE ITS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE JOINT OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 10-1-40 of the 1976 Code is repealed.
SECTION 2. The duties and responsibilities of the State House Committee devolve to the Joint Operations and Management Committee of the House and Senate upon this act's effective date.
SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
