A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 7-19-40, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS, SO AS TO REAPPORTION AND FURTHER PROVIDE FOR THE COMPOSITION OF THE DISTRICTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNITED STATES CENSUS OF 1990.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 7-19-40 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
