TO AMEND ACT 544 OF 1982, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF GREENVILLE COUNTY, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE TERMS OF OFFICE ARE FOR TWO YEARS RATHER THAN FOUR.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The second paragraph of Section 1 of Act 544 of 1982 is amended to read:
"The term of office of each trustee shall be four is two years to commence on the first day of January next following the election beginning with those members elected in 1992."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
