EXPRESSING THE SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF MR. DAVID DEWITT SKINNELL OF YORK COUNTY WHO DIED ON MONDAY, JANUARY 7, 1991.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were saddened to learn of the death of Mr. David Dewitt Skinnell of York County on Monday, January 7, 1991; and
Whereas, Mr. Skinnell was retired from Bowling Green Spinning Company; and
Whereas, he was a member of the Optimist Club and Clover United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Methodist Men's Club; and
Whereas, Mr. Skinnell was a devoted husband for seventy-two years; and
Whereas, David Skinnell was the grandfather of Carol McAlister, Secretary to Senator Harvey S. Peeler, Jr.; and
Whereas, Mr. Skinnell will be sorely missed by those with whom he came in contact. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly express their sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. David Dewitt Skinnell of York County who died on Monday, January 7, 1991.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to his widow, Mrs. Corrie Aultice Skinnell.
