A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXTENDING CONGRATULATIONS TO SECOND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF GREENVILLE ON ITS CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION, 1892-1992.

Whereas, Second Presbyterian Church of Greenville is holding its centennial celebration this year; and

Whereas, the members, clergy, and friends of "Second Church" are recalling with joy and thanks the church's outstanding history from 1892 to 1992; and

Whereas, this occasion brings forth unity and rededication among the members of Second Church and is an event deserving of recognition and congratulations. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, extends congratulations to Second Presbyterian Church of Greenville on its centennial celebration, 1892-1992.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the pastor and members of Second Presbyterian Church of Greenville.
