A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXTENDING CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. RANDOLPH PEOPLES OF DARLINGTON COUNTY ON THE HAPPY OCCASION OF HIS ONE HUNDREDTH BIRTHDAY.

Whereas, Mr. Randolph Peoples of Hartsville, Darlington County, was born in 1892 and on Saturday, March 7, 1992, will celebrate with family and friends the joyous occasion of his one hundredth birthday; and

Whereas, he served in the First World War and is a retired railroad system employee; and

Whereas, "Mr. Randolph", as he is affectionately known, is a remarkable individual who still manages his own household and actively participates in community activities; and

Whereas, on turning one hundred years "young", he has reached a truly significant milestone, one which is highly deserving of recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, extends hearty congratulations to Mr. Randolph Peoples of Darlington County on the happy occasion of his one hundredth birthday.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Peoples at 119 W. Laurens Avenue, Hartsville, 29550.
