TO COMMEND JOHN TREMAIN AND THE GREENVILLE AND NORTHERN RAILROAD IN THEIR EFFORTS TO PROMOTE THE RAILROAD INDUSTRY IN GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA.
Whereas, the Greenville and Northern Railroad and its predecessors have been a part of South Carolina railroad history since 1877; and
Whereas, the Greenville and Northern Railroad has historically provided needed rail transportation for individuals and industries within Greenville and Greenville County, South Carolina; and
Whereas, the Greenville and Northern Railroad has committed to become an integral part of the future growth and development of Greenville and Greenville County, South Carolina; and
Whereas, John Tremain has provided an important element by using his efforts with the Greenville and Northern Railroad to help promote the industry in Greenville. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the House does hereby commend John Tremain and the Greenville and Northern Railroad in their efforts to sustain and promote the railroad industry in Greenville, South Carolina.
