A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

REQUESTING CLEMSON UNIVERSITY TO REVIEW AND RECONSIDER ITS DECISION TO IMPOSE A CHARGE OF FIVE DOLLARS PER SOIL SAMPLE ANALYSIS.

Whereas, Clemson University has imposed a charge of five dollars per soil sample analysis; and

Whereas, this charge defeats the purpose of encouraging soil care and enrichment; and

Whereas, a charge for soil sample analysis has the effect of discouraging the public and imposing a burden on citizen enrichment of the soil. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, requests Clemson University to review and reconsider its decision to impose a charge of five dollars per soil sample analysis.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Clemson University.
