A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 30-4-50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT AND THE LIST OF CERTAIN MATTERS THAT ARE DECLARED TO BE PUBLIC INFORMATION, SO AS TO ADD TO THAT LIST THE CONTENTS OF ALL RECOMMENDATIONS OR REPORTS GIVEN BY THE LEGISLATIVE AUDIT COUNCIL STAFF TO THE LEGISLATIVE AUDIT COUNCIL.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 30-4-50 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding an appropriately numbered item to read:

"( ) The contents of all recommendations or reports given by the Legislative Audit Council staff to the Legislative Audit Council."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
