TO PROHIBIT AN INSURER ISSUING INDIVIDUAL MAJOR MEDICAL INSURANCE FROM DECLINING AN INDIVIDUAL SOLELY ON THE BASIS OF THE INDIVIDUAL'S LEGAL OCCUPATION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. No insurer issuing individual major medical insurance may decline an individual solely
on the basis of the individual's legal occupation.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
