TO WISH A HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR DEAR FRIEND AND CLERK, THE HONORABLE FRANK B. CAGGIANO, WHO WAS BORN FORTY YEARS AGO TOMORROW.
Whereas, the Honorable Frank B. Caggiano, Clerk of the South Carolina Senate, celebrates the fortieth anniversary of his birth on April 26, 1991; and
Whereas, the members of the Senate have enjoyed and appreciated Frank's wit and wisdom since 1978 when he served as Assistant to the Clerk of the Senate for Research and Administration. He was appointed Assistant Clerk in 1979 and Acting Clerk and Director for the Office of Senate Research in 1984 and elected Clerk in 1985; and
Whereas, Frank continually proves himself to be a valuable asset to the Senate with his ever-present desire and ability to assist each member of the Senate; and
Whereas, Frank's patience in time of discontent, composure in instances of excitement, and intelligence in rare moments of ignorance have carried us through many late-night sessions; and
Whereas, the members of this body wish to express their desire that Frank celebrate many more birthdays and that he celebrate them here with his friends and admirers in the South Carolina Senate. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate wish a Happy Birthday to our dear friend and Clerk, the Honorable Frank B. Caggiano, who was born forty years ago tomorrow.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Honorable Frank B. Caggiano.
