A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE SCHOOL DAY OF MARCH 18, 1991, MISSED BY A. L. CORBETT MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS IN AIKEN COUNTY WHEN THE SCHOOL WAS CLOSED BECAUSE OF A SAFETY PROBLEM IS EXEMPT FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
School day excused
SECTION 1. The school day of March 18, 1991, missed by students at A. L. Corbett Middle School in Aiken County due to the school's being closed because of a safety problem is exempt from the requirement of the Defined Minimum Plan that full school days missed due to extreme weather or other circumstances be made up.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
