AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 3-3-310, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO LAND FOR GEORGETOWN JETTIES AND SPECIFIC GRANTS OR CESSIONS OF LAND JURISDICTION TO THE UNITED STATES, SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR THE FILING OF CERTAIN PLATS WITH THE REGISTER OF MESNE CONVEYANCES FOR GEORGETOWN COUNTY, RATHER THAN IN THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Place of filing plats changed

SECTION 1. The last unnumbered paragraph of Section 3-3-310 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"The proper officers of the United States in charge of such jetties from time to time shall cause to be executed a plat of the lands which may be required for the purposes aforesaid and file such plats with the register of mesne conveyances for Georgetown County."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
