TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 48-33-75 SO AS TO REQUIRE THE COMMISSION OF FORESTRY TO MAINTAIN AT LEAST ONE HUNDRED FIVE FIRE TOWERS TO BE OPERATED IN STRATEGIC LOCATIONS DETERMINED BY THE COMMISSION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 48-33-75. The State Commission of Forestry shall maintain at least one hundred five fire towers to be operated in strategic locations determined by the commission."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
