A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SENATE TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF MR. CARROL H. WARNER OF AIKEN WHO DIED SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 1994.

Whereas, Mr. Carrol H. Warner of Aiken died Saturday, February 5, 1994; and

Whereas, a son of the late Marion Roy and Alberta Garvin Warner, Mr. Warner was a graduate of Wagener High School and Clemson University; and

Whereas, Mr. Warner served on the Aiken County Council and has served as chairman since 1977. He was one of the first members elected after the 1975 Home Rule Act; and

Whereas, Mr. Warner was a farmer and businessman and lived in the Kitchings Mill community. He was an Air Force veteran; and

Whereas, a past president of the Wagener Lions Club, Mr. Warner was also a past member of the Wagener Jaycees, the Kitchings Mill Community Club, the Silverton Agriculture Club, the Aiken Rotary Club, and the Clemson IPTAY Club. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate express their deepest sympathy to the family and many friends of Mr. Carrol H. Warner of Aiken who died Saturday, February 5, 1994.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the family of Mr. Warner.
