EXTENDING THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF SOUTH CAROLINA TO MRS. WILLIENE WEST OGBURN OF CAMDEN IN KERSHAW COUNTY UPON THE OCCASION OF BEING SELECTED MS. SENIOR SOUTH CAROLINA.
Whereas, Mrs. Williene West Ogburn of Camden won the Ms. Senior South Carolina pageant on Saturday, January 15, 1994, in Rock Hill, South Carolina; and
Whereas, Mrs. Ogburn, a former clerk of family court, a member of the "Young at Heart" group from Camden will have the honor of competing for the Ms. Senior America title in Reno, Nevada, in May; and
Whereas, she delighted a Rock Hill audience with a fast-stepping Charleston; and
Whereas, Mrs. Ogburn is an inspiration to all age groups; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly wish her every success in her competition in Reno; and
Whereas, Mrs. Ogburn has brought distinction to herself as well as all other senior citizens by her beauty, agility, and zest for living. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly congratulate Mrs. Williene West Ogburn of Camden in Kershaw County upon the occasion of being selected Ms. Senior South Carolina and extend to her their best wishes for success in the upcoming Ms. Senior America in May, 1994, in Reno, Nevada.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Wiliene West Ogburn.
