TO RECOGNIZE MR. ALEXANDER A. VALOIS OF NORTH AUGUSTA UPON BEING NAMED AIKEN COUNTY'S OUTSTANDING OLDER SOUTH CAROLINIAN.
Whereas, Mr. Alexander A. Valois of North Augusta, a seventy-eight year old active retiree, has been named Aiken County's Older South Carolinian; and
Whereas, Mr. Valois has been described by those who know him well as a "wonderful role model"; and
Whereas, in addition to being a volunteer throughout his community, Mr. Valois serves as a board member of the county office of the Department of Social Services, treasurer of Community Ministry, and a member of the local Boy Scouts of America Board, was a past president of the local Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons, and lends support to a recycling program in North Augusta; and
Whereas, the members of the Senate are proud to note this achievement in the life of Mr. Valois and thank him for the invaluable contributions he has made within his community. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate recognize Mr. Alexander A. Valois of North Augusta upon being named Aiken County's Outstanding Older South Carolinian.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Valois.
