A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE MISS CRYSTAL CUYLER OF ESTILL, SOUTH CAROLINA ON HER GRADUATION FROM ESTILL HIGH SCHOOL, TO COMMEND HER AS ONE THE BEST 1600 METER RUNNERS IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA HIGH SCHOOL RANKS, AND WISH HER LUCK IN HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, Crystal Cuyler of Estill, South Carolina is graduating from Estill High School on June 1, 1994; and

Whereas, Miss Cuyler, a native of Estill, is recognized as one of the best 1600 meter runners in the South Carolina high school ranks; and

Whereas, Miss Cuyler, as the Class A defending state champion in the 1600 meters, won the 1994 Region 5-A Conference Meet in the 400 and 1600 meter events, won the 1600 meter event by more than 15 seconds over her closest competitor in a time of 5:56, and was named All-Region in both events; and

Whereas, Miss Cuyler was undefeated in dual meet competitions in 1993 and was subsequently named to the Class A All-State Track Team; and

Whereas, in 1993 Miss Cuyler received a Gold medal for winning the 1600 meter run at the Class A State Track meet, received the Coach's Award, an All-Region Plaque, was recognized by The Hampton County Guardian as one of the best high school track athletes in South Carolina, and was named the Estill High School Lady Gator track team's MVP. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate express their sincere congratulations to Miss Crystal Cuyler of Estill, South Carolina on her graduation from Estill High School and her many outstanding achievements in the sports arena.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Miss Crystal Cuyler of Estill.
