TO AUTHORIZE ANY RETAIL ESTABLISHMENT LICENSED TO DO BUSINESS IN THIS STATE TO DISPLAY "CLOSED" OR "OPEN" SIGNS IN ITS WINDOW IF NOT IN CONFLICT WITH LOCAL ORDINANCE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any retail establishment licensed to do business in this State may, at its discretion, display "Closed" or "Open" signs in its window if not in conflict with local ordinance.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
