TO AMEND SECTION 51-3-60, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO FREE ADMISSION AND REDUCED CHARGES AT STATE PARKS FOR SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENTS WHO ARE OVER SIXTY-FIVE YEARS OF AGE, OR WHO ARE DISABLED, SO AS TO EXTEND THE SAME BENEFITS TO A NONRESIDENT IF THE NONRESIDENT'S STATE EXTENDS A SIMILAR BENEFIT IN ITS STATE PARKS TO A SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 51-3-60 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding at the end:
"A nonresident otherwise eligible for the benefits allowed under this section may receive these benefits if state parks in his state of residence extend similar benefits to similarly situated residents of this state."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
