A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING MS. REBEKAH WALTER UPON BEING NAMED TEACHER OF THE YEAR FOR 1993-94 AT MORRISON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN CLEMSON.

Whereas, Morrison Elementary School in Clemson has named Ms. Rebekah Walter its Teacher of the Year for 1993-94; and

Whereas, Ms. Walter has taught kindergarten students for nine years at Morrison; and

Whereas, she is an outstanding teacher who is thoroughly dedicated to excellence in public education in South Carolina and is to be highly commended for her efforts and accomplishments. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates Ms. Rebekah Walter upon being named Teacher of the Year for 1993-94 at Morrison Elementary School in Clemson.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Walter and to Dr. Paul N. Prichard, principal of Morrison Elementary School, 230 Frontage Road, Clemson, 29631-1642.
