A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 20-7-410, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO REPORTS OF TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS BY JUVENILES, SO AS TO INCLUDE ALL VIOLATIONS WHICH AFFECT THE JUVENILE'S PRIVILEGE TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The second paragraph of Section 20-7-410 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"The family court shall report to the Department of Highways and Public Transportation all adjudications of juveniles for moving traffic violations to the Department of Highways and Public Transportation and other violations which affect the juvenile's privilege to operate a motor vehicle including, but not limited to, controlled substance and alcoholic beverage violations as required by other courts of this State pursuant to Section 56-1-330 and adjudications of the provisions of Title 50 shall report to the Wildlife and Marine Resources Department adjudications of the provisions of Title 50."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
