AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-30, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN ABBEVILLE COUNTY, SO AS TO DELETE THE SPECIFIC LOCATIONS OF POLLING PLACES FOR EACH PRECINCT AND PROVIDE THAT THE POLLING PLACES MUST BE DETERMINED BY THE ABBEVILLE COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE ABBEVILLE COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Polling places - Abbeville County
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-30(C) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 22 of 1989, is further amended to read:
"(C) The polling places for the voting precincts in Abbeville County must be determined by the Abbeville County Election Commission with the approval of a majority of the Abbeville County Legislative Delegation."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
