A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE DEATH OF WILLIAM PARKER "BILL" FRETWELL OF ANDERSON COUNTY AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, Mr. William Parker "Bill" Fretwell of Anderson County died on August 20, 1992, at the age of fifty-five; and

Whereas, he was a native of Anderson County and was the former owner and operator of Anderson Moving and Storage, Allied Van Lines, and was regional manager for Surfair, Inc.; and

Whereas, he was very actively involved in his community in a number of ways and was the first chairman of the Anderson County Election Commission and the former chairman of the Personnel Appeals Board of the City of Anderson; and

Whereas, he was an outstanding individual who was respected and admired by all who knew him. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express sorrow at the death of William Parker "Bill" Fretwell of Anderson County and extend sympathy to his family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Fretwell's family.
