TO AMEND RULE 4.13, RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, RELATING TO INVITATIONS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT WHEN THE HOUSE ACCEPTS AN INVITATION TO A FUNCTION AND IS IN SESSION AT THE TIME THE FUNCTION IS HELD, IT SHALL RECEDE FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR TO ATTEND THE FUNCTION.
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That Rule 4.13 of the Rules of the House is amended by adding at the end:
"When the House accepts an invitation to a function and is in session at the time the function is held, it shall recede for at least one hour to attend the function."
